In the film "Tying Your Own Shoes", directed by Shira Avni, four artists with Down Syndrome were interviewed while they were working on their art projects. The film focuses on how art helps people with down syndrome to express themselves and let everyone recognize them through their art.

"The Burning Man" was the first movie that had been shown in BakaFORUM. The movie is talking about a crime that happened in South Africa. Some blacks attacked two other black men who had moved to South Africa from Mozambique in order to find a job.

Während der Eröffnung des BaKaForums 2010 wurde der Film "Me, My Gipsy Family and Woody Allen" von Laura Halilovic präsentiert. Dabei war unter anderem Anita Awosusi, Leiterin des Dokumentations- und Kulturzentrum Deutscher Sinti und Roma. Die Jungreporter des Mediaculture-Projekts haben mit ihr gesprochen.

"The Tale of Nicolai and the Law of Return" was one of the films shown at the BaKaForum yesterday. The Israeli documentary by David Ofek is about the simple Romanian man Nicolai, who found out that his grandmother is Jewish. This fact changed his life.
